I had the privilege of photographing Dalton & Kelli’s proposal a year before I got to document their elopement at Mountain Top Inn & Resort this past October – it felt incredibly full circle to be back with them on such a meaningful day. The mountain greeted us with brisk winds and a sunny Vermont day, and wow… it was absolutely breathtaking. While the cold was no joke, Dalton & Kelli never let it steal the moment. They laughed through the wind, held each other close, and embraced every second – proof that when it’s right, nothing else really matters.
One of the most special details of the day was Kelli honoring her mom by wearing her vintage wedding gown and hairpiece. Seeing her step into something so meaningful, with the mountains stretching endlessly behind her, was incredibly moving. The dress fit her like it was always meant for this moment – timeless, sentimental, and effortlessly beautiful.
Their day was simple, intentional, and full of heart—exactly what an elopement should be. Rosey cheeks, happy tears, and a love that radiated warmth even on the chilliest mountain day.
