PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a small-town Vermont girl and proud of it! Vermont is in my blood. Even during the years living elsewhere, I always felt a strong pull back to my home.

I'm married to my best friend, Mike!! He is truly the light of my life and my soulmate. I'll always be grateful I get to do this crazy little thing called life with him.

I’m a big fan of the simple life here in Vermont. My spare time is filled with outdoor adventures, family time, making homemade pizza, and doing really cool, mature things like googling “funny animals”.

Without fail I cry watching animal rescue videos, I'm obsessed with everything lavender scented, and my idea of a good time is a cozy movie night with my hubby surrounded by our crazy kitties, Luna & Ayla., and our big red dog, Lazarus. Oh, and I name everything. My car, instruments, and even all my plants have names.

My excitement finding pretty light is uncontainable!! If I'm not doing a happy light dance, you'll be able to tell by the weird squeaks and random accents I bust out. I just wish I had a dollar for every time I've said "gorgeous" with an accent. What can I say, light gets me every time.

Meet Abi

Hey!! I'm Abi! I started my business in 2012 and have learned so much on this incredible journey!
Here's a little about me:

Hey!! I'm Abi!

I started my business in 2012, and this journey has taught me more than I ever could have imagined. Photography isn’t just what I do - it’s how I connect, tell stories, and preserve moments that matter most.

I’m married to my best friend, Mike - the love of my life and my soulmate. I’ll always be grateful that I get to do this beautiful, messy, wonderful thing called life with him.

MY FAVORITE HUMAN

I’m a small-town Vermont girl, through and through. Vermont is in my blood. Even during the years I lived elsewhere, I always felt a strong pull back home. This place grounds me, inspires me, and shapes the way I see the world.

ROOTED IN VERMONT

I’m drawn to the simple life. My days are filled with outdoor adventures, family time, homemade pizza nights, and doing very cool, very mature things like watching cute animals on social media.

LIFE LATELY

Cozy movie nights are my favorite - especially with my hubby, our two wild kitties, Luna and Ayla, and our big red dog, Lazarus. Lavender-scented everything has my heart, and I name everything. My car, my instruments, and even my plants all have names!

I’m a sympathetic crier. I’ll probably tear up at least once on your wedding day - especially during a daddy-daughter dance.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

If I suddenly squeak, slip into a random accent, or do a little happy dance, it’s likely because I just found the prettiest light. What can I say? Beautiful light gets me every time.

THINGS I LOVE

Outdoor adventures!  I enjoy biking, hiking, trail running, paddle-boarding, and lots of things in between.

The sound or feeling of nails scratching on weird surfaces. No thank you!

Freshly cleaned bedding. I love climbing into  bed with freshly washed linens!

Mismatched socks. I would be thinking about it all day long!

Rocks & feathers! I collect both! I have vases full of fun feathers I've found  and rocks placed around our home  as mementos from all our special adventures.

Crooked picture frames. I will secretly fix them when no one is looking!

Chips & salsa! Get in my belly! Oh and homemade pizza!

Soggy neckgators. You know when it's super cold so you wear a neckgator over your face but then your breath makes it moist? Gross.

Plants! Lots and lots of plants! My mom once told me my house looked like a jungle. I've since scaled my collection back to make room for my husband & step-kids.

Foody hands. I will eat messy foods, but you best believe I'm going straight to wash my hands afterwards!

Photos. Since I was kid I've always loved photos from our family history. Frozen little snippets of time that you can't get back!

Country music. Have never been a fan of pop country, don't hate me! However I do like folk and blues!

Psychological thriller movies!  I've always enjoyed movies that keep  me on the edge of my seat or keep me guessing who done it!

Split pea soup. I don't think I need to explain this one.

Daily devotional time with my hubby. This is a sacred time for us to grow our faith and build  our marriage.

Tailgating.  Objects are closer than they appear!

Healthy beverages! I love me some kombucha, fresh pressed juice, or a fun botanical drink to sip on!

Nose  hairs that  stick out. No one needs to see  that!

Anything & everything that smells like lavender.

Having something stuck in my eye! The worst!

Hoodies. I have so many hoodies from all over ! I have a designated section of my closet just for hoodies. Don't tell anyone!

Styling my hair.  This maybe gets accomplished twice a year.

I BELIEVE IN LAUGHING - A LOT.

In blasting music and dancing like no one’s watching.
In silver linings, even when they’re hard to find.

I believe in embracing the hard seasons of life.
Not because they’re easy - or even enjoyable - but because they shape us, stretch us, and mold us into who we're called to become.

After all, even the most beautiful diamonds
have to endure a little fire first.
And when they come out the other side,
they shine brighter than ever.
