Every time I get an inquiry for an intimate wedding or elopement I do a little happy dance. I LOVE photographing intimate wedding days. There’s just something so special about them! So you can probably imagine how excited I was when Jen inquired about her elopement at the Woodstock Inn. (Literally happy dance in my computer chair…shh).
I can honestly say that Jen is one of the most hilarious and joyful brides I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We pretty much laughed the entire day and went home feeling like we had spent the afternoon with a couple of old friends. It was so much fun being such a big part of Jen & Mike’s wedding day, that we didn’t really want to leave. That’s when you know it’s been an amazing day 🙂
Mike & Jen welcomed us into their intimate wedding day as if they’d known us for a long time and let us drive them all around Woodstock to capture lots and lots of photos of their love for each other. I loved seeing how much Mike loves his bride and all her spunkiness and how unabashedly Jen loves Mike. It’s couples like Mike & Jen that make me fall in love with my job all over again.
Mike & Jen, thank you SO much for having us be a part of your amazing wedding day!! It’s definitely one that will go down in the books! It was so much fun walking around town with you both, laughing with you, and creating memories for you. You are both amazing!!! And Jen, you are gorgeous!! Inside and out. And you have a very teeny tiny waist 😉 Wishing you lots of adventures and a life full of laugher.
